You are looking for a good deal on True Religion Denim on eBay? You are lucky! They’re out there – but only at selected eBay sellers!

True Religion Jeans are not only the hottest and most exclusive denim trend of the last seasons, but also – sadly enough – became the most faked premium jeans in online sales. This platform is riddled with fakers and shady sellers, who offer cheap fakes as authentic True Religion denim! An estimated 80% of the True Religion jeans offered on eBay are in fact fakes. Even the latest 2009 styles are already sloppily faked and sold, so be aware when shopping for your favourite True Religion Jeans here!!

We are part of a distinctive group of sellers, who purchase True Religion solely and exclusively from licensed True Religion distributors in Germany and can therefore guarantee a 100% authenticity of our goods. The enormous numbers of fake-sellers, who flood eBay lately, harm our business and our excellent reputation. Main rule: True Religion is an absolute premium label of highest quality and with unique features in design and cut made in USA and that has its price, also on eBay! So beware of sellers, who offer their True Religion jeans quite inexpensive or even cheap. There is – apart from very few exceptions -NO WAY one could offer authentic True Religion denim for less than 250 USD. New and very rare styles not under 380-490 USD!

TRUE RELIGION – Fake or not

General:

• Quality: Authentic True Religion Jeans do not have any flaws and the label doesn’t deliver any b-class merchandise to its distributors! Either they are made perfectly or feature professionally processed vintage details! The denim itself is always woven in a sophisticated manner and best quality in different ways and looks. The same is true for stitching and seams. Flawed, misarranged and missing details are usually reliable hints for fakes!

• Quantity: True Religion doesn’t sell its jeans styles in mass amounts and they only distribute stocks to their licensed partners on the international market. Moreover, some styles are rare and more hard to find than others (such as the „rainbow“-series). A seller who offers a style in all kinds of different sizes and/or has it available in high numbers, one can be almost sure that he sells fakes.

• Package: Some sellers praise themselves with delivering their True Religion jeans in authentic „True Religion bags“ with signature logo on it. Watch out: FAKE! These plastic bags, often with a red Buddha printed on them, does not exist at all!!

• Pictures: Beware of sellers who only feature professional pictures of their products in auction, which they copied from the official True Religion website and won’t show the actual item they offer for sale! Probably they use pictures of authentic jeans to hide the flaws of the fakes they will sell you.

• Location: Watch the location of the article/seller! Turkey, Bulgaria, China or Hong Kong are not trustworthy locations for True Religion sellers.

• Inner labels: The symmetry, the letter writing and the neat quality of the labels are already telling. Inaccurate alignment, misarranged letters and irregular stitching hint towards a fake! Depending on the style and collection year the look of the inner labels may vary:

    

New style feature a connected seam with a swing to it between the E (in „TruE“) to the R (in „Religion“) as you can see above. On these new labels the „J“ in „Brand Jeans“ is moved up a little bit above the line of the other letters.

The inner labels of pre-2007 styles feature the „J“ of „Brand Jeans“ moved down a little and not in line with the other letters:

 
All inner labels feature the note „Made in USA“ oder „U.S.A.“!

IMPORTANT: Authentic True Religion jeans generally have a micro stitching! Either it is a silver thread with security print along the border of the inner label or/and a firm (plastic-)thread on the smaller horseshoe-label underneath:

   

The silver micro stitching generally features a hologram lettering saying „Security Label“ or „TRBJ“:

 

Moreover, the recent True Religion styles come with consecutive serial numbers that you will find on the back of the little horseshoe label (not to be confused with cut/style numbers!): 

• Often faked styles: Bobby Big T, Bobby Heritage Super T, Billy Big T, Johnny Big T, Rainbow-Series, Stevie, Billy Stretch, Billy Super T, Joey Heritage Super T, Ava Heritage Select Big T. WATCH OUT: Even the latest styles are already circulating as fakes on this platform!
